1. The goal of the tournament

The competition is organised for amateur athletes regardless of their knowledge of football, age, sexual orientation and gender identity. EuroGames will offer 11-a-side 1st and 2nd Division, 7-a-side fun division and 5-a-side recreational division for men, 7-a-side 1st and 2nd division as well as 5-a-side fun division for women. 

2. Location of the tournament

The tournament will be held at outdoor venues.

4. Date of the event

28th-30th June, 2012 (Thursday - Saturday)

  • arrival and registration: 8:00
  • opening and technical speeches: 8:30
  • start of the tournament: 9:00
  • there will be no dedicated lunch break 

5. Categories

Female: 7-a-side 1st and 2nd division, 5-a-side fun
Males: 11-a-side 1st and 2nd Division, 7-a-side fun division, 5-a-side recreational division 

6. Details about the tournament

The tournament will follow the IGLFA rules.
The teams will play in groups.
The tournament will start with the group games.
There will be Semifinals and Finals to decide about the final ranking.  

7. Medals

Medals will be given to the first, second and third best in each categories. There will be special awards for the best scorer, goal keeper and the best team in fair play.

8. Registration

  1. All athletes have to register through the central registration system on the EuroGames 2012 homepage.
  2. All athletes have to register on the 28th of June (Thursday) at the central EuroGames registration.
  3. All athletes have to register at the venue on the day of the competition.

9. Results

The results will be published during the tournament on a board and on the internet site of the competition a few days latest after the EuroGames.

10. Important information

  1. All athletes participate at the tournament on their own risk!
  2. There will be first aid during the competition.
  3. The organisers are not responsible for the belongings of the competitors at the venue!
  4. Purchase of insurance for the competition is highly recommended!
  5. Balls will be provided by the organizers.
  6. The play will be stopped only for the breaks and in case of injuries.

 

The organisers have the right to make changes in the planned program above.
