1. Goal of the competition
Our goal is to provide amateur players the possibility of playing petanque regardless of experience, age, sex, sexual orientation and identity. Petanque has been quite popular at the recent EuroGames events.
Another goal of the event is to popularize the sport petanque.
In case the announced rules differ from the written regulations or the regulations of MAPESZ, the announced rules shall govern.
2. Location
The competition is going to take place at a location most suited for the event, near the centre of Budapest.
3. Organizers
Competition director: will be delegated by MAPESZ (Hungarian Petanque Association)
Referee: the referees will be appointed by the leadership of MAPESZ and the organizers will announce the list of referees before the competition

6. Execution of the competition
The competition will be divided into categories.
The championship will be executed based on the evaluation system of MAPESZ, depending on the number of registered participants.
7. Awards
The three best participants in all categories will be awarded with medals.
8. Registration and entering the competition
Registration is possible through the website of the competition. In case you check the option “looking for game partner”, we will do our best to find you a partner in doubles.
Personal registration is compulsory on 28 June at the registration point.
A final check-in will be required from all participants before their first game.
9. Announcement of results
An announcement will be made public at the location of the event for each category. The medals will be awarded at the site of the event after the games are over. The results will also be published at the website of the event after the competition.
10. Other

All participants shall take responsibility for their own health and safety; sports doctor’s certificate is not required; registration serves as to acknowledge that the participants’ state of health is suitable for entering the competition. Warm-up is obligatory!

We take no responsibility for property left in the changing rooms and/or competition hall.
